Personal Profile

I am a BIPOC mental health counselor of Pacific Islander heritage with broad clinical experience working with diverse youth, individuals, and families in school and community health settings. In my work, I have addressed a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma/ PTSD, emotion dysregulation, life transitions, relationship difficulties, self-harm, and issues related to alcohol and substance use.
I am committed to fostering healing and empowerment through a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and gender-affirming lens. My therapeutic style is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental. In our collaborative journey towards well-being, I prioritize creating a safe and supportive space that honors your lived experiences and values your authentic self. Together, we will tap into your strengths to develop meaningful solutions that address the areas where you seek growth.
I utilize evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based interventions to provide you with concrete tools and strategies for navigating life’s challenges. I place a strong emphasis on applying culturally relevant adaptations to these and other existing mental health treatments. Your wisdom and insights are not only welcome but essential to the therapeutic process. I look forward to partnering with you on this transformative journey towards a happier, healthier, and more fulfilled life.
