Are you a provisional studying for the EPPP? Do you struggle to engage in regular self care? Has your supervisor recommended you do more self care, but you haven’t found the time or the right activities?

EPPP Self Care Group for Provisionals is a four-session therapeutic group that offers experiential exercises, activities, and discussions to provide and aid in self care.

This group is tailored for provisional psychologists who are starting, continuing, or nearing the end of studying for the EPPP.

Each group session will include a self care activity followed by group reflection and discussions.

Group dates:

Tuesday July 9th, July 23rd, August 6th, and August 20th, 2024 at 5:30-7pm at our Orchards location.

Registration and Fees:

The total investment is $220 per person. Registration and payment must be completed by July 7th, 2024. Payment can be made in the form of a credit card or e-transfer to billing@healmyheart.ca. You will receive a receipt that you can send it for reimbursement if you have insurance coverage. Your fee cover your attendance, materials for activities, beverages, and snacks.

Group Facilitator:

Justine is a Registered Psychologist and the Clinical Director for Orchards location of The Grief and Trauma Healing Centre. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Macewan University and Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Justine is currently completing her Psychology Doctorate (PsyD) at California Southern University researching traumatic loss in children.

Over the years Justine has worked at various private and community mental health organizations with children, adolescents, and adults. She values authenticity and enjoys bringing humor, generosity, and evidence-based practices to clients. As the clinical director, Justine regularly facilitates consultation groups and supervises students through various university programs. Justine enjoys professional speaking, facilitating debriefs, workshops, and training events along with contributing to blog posts at The Grief and Trauma Healing Centre. She currently sits on the board of directors and education committee for the Canadian Association for Play Therapy (CAPT).
